Our Health Guarantee

The Disney Farms Health Commitment

At Disney Farms, we proudly stand behind the health and quality of every Australian Shepherd puppy we raise. Each puppy undergoes a thorough health examination by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our care. New families receive official veterinary documentation confirming the puppy is in good health at the time of placement.

We strongly recommend that all new owners schedule a wellness check with their own licensed veterinarian within four (4) days of their puppy’s arrival. This visit helps confirm continued good health and establishes a strong foundation for ongoing care.

If a serious health concern is identified by your veterinarian during this initial four-day period and you decide to return the puppy, Disney Farms will issue a full refund of the purchase price, minus a $20 administrative processing fee.

In the unlikely event that a severe hereditary or genetic condition is diagnosed within the puppy’s first year of life, and two licensed veterinarians determine that humane euthanasia is required, Disney Farms will offer a replacement puppy from the next available litter, when possible.

The buyer agrees to provide proper nutrition, safe living conditions, routine veterinary care, and responsible lifelong ownership to ensure the puppy’s continued health, safety, and happiness.

Our commitment does not end once your puppy goes home. Disney Farms remains available to offer guidance, answer questions, and support you throughout your Australian Shepherd’s life.

Caring for Your New Australian Shepherd

Guidance from Disney Farms

Welcoming a puppy into your home is an exciting journey that also requires patience, structure, and dedication—especially during early training. With consistency and positive reinforcement, training your Australian Shepherd can be a rewarding experience for both you and your puppy.

Potty Training Tips for Australian Shepherd Puppies

Advice from Disney Farms

Proper timing and routine are essential for successful potty training. Young puppies often need to relieve themselves about 15 minutes after eating, drinking, or active play. Establishing clear expectations early helps your puppy develop strong habits.

⏰ 1. Create a Reliable Schedule

Feed your puppy at the same times daily and take them to their designated potty area shortly after meals, naps, or play sessions. During the early weeks, potty breaks every two hours help minimize accidents and reinforce consistency.

🎉 2. Reward Good Behavior

Australian Shepherds respond exceptionally well to positive reinforcement. Immediately praise your puppy with enthusiasm or offer a small treat when they potty in the correct spot. Your excitement helps reinforce the behavior.

👀 3. Monitor Closely Indoors

Watch for signs such as sniffing, circling, or restlessness, which usually indicate your puppy needs to go outside. Gently guide them to the correct area and reward them immediately after success.

🚫 4. Correct Calmly and Kindly

Never punish your puppy after an accident—they won’t understand. If caught in the act, calmly interrupt and take them to the proper potty location. Praise them once they finish correctly. Consistency and patience are key.

🏡 5. Use a Safe Resting Area

Crate training or a designated sleeping space can greatly assist with potty training. Puppies instinctively avoid soiling their sleeping area, helping them learn to hold it until taken outside.

💖 Final Tip

Consistency, encouragement, and patience make all the difference. Your Australian Shepherd is eager to learn and please. With structure and love, your puppy will quickly develop good habits and grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.
